Lambretta

In 1947 the Italian com­pany Inno­centi star­ted man­u­fac­tur­ing the Lam­bretta scoot­ers. They were pro­duced over the next 30 years and became a sym­bol of youth all over the world. For the six­ties life­style mods, the Lam­bretta scooter meant free­dom and independence.

LAMBRETTA – The first fragrance

The Lam­bretta fra­grance for men was cre­ated in 2009 and retains the cool, highly desir­able brand val­ues that were seen in the ori­ginal scooter – it man­ages to be both clas­sic and mod­ern at the same time.

The fra­grance is a refresh­ing cit­rus accord with spark­ling lemon and man­darin notes, blen­ded around a com­plex floral heart with spicy twists of car­damom, black pep­per and sage. This settles down onto a deep base of moss, incense and amber woods.

It is avail­able as a 100ml EDT or a 50ml gift set, and can either be pur­chased in the clas­sic black pack­aging, or with a choice of two dec­or­at­ive sleeves – Italia, for some European eleg­ance, or Cool Brit, for some pat­ri­otic style.

 

 

LAMBRETTA IN 2011

Fol­low­ing the suc­cess of the ori­ginal Lam­bretta fra­grance, Autumn 2011 saw the release of three brand new mas­cu­line scents, all in-keeping with the clas­sic, dis­tinct­ive Lam­bretta style. All fra­grances are avail­able as taste­ful gift sets, includ­ing a 100ml EDT and 150ml body wash.

Tar­get – With top notes of ber­ga­mot, lemon and man­darin, the fresh open­ing warms into heady notes of sweet Jamaican pep­per and rose – floral, but still expli­citly mas­cu­line. The base notes are made up of an intox­ic­at­ing blend of musks, patchouli, cedar and amber.

Viva Italia – Inspired by the Italian roots of the brand, this fra­grance begins with a spicy open­ing of pep­per, lemon, nut­meg and man­darin. The heart of the fra­grance is made up of floral jas­mine, warm amber and patchouli, with base notes of leather, san­dal­wood, spicy cedar, sen­sual musks and earthy moss.

L47 Scooter – with a design inspired by the iconic scooter, this fresh fra­grance has top notes of spark­ling cit­rus and ber­ga­mot, herbal, earthy heart notes of lav­ender and rose­mary, and leads down to warm woody amber base notes.
