Perry has described it as “a little sister” to her award-winning first fragrance Purr. A sweeter fragrance than her debut scent, ‘Meow’ was created while Perry was on her ‘California Dreams’ world tour which earlier this month saw her play to packed stadiums across the UK.

The fragrance has been made by US based Gigantic Parfums and will be distributed in the UK and South Africa by Jigsaw ESL.

Meow will launch as an EDP in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml. The juice includes pear, vanilla and honeysuckle and the bottle will mirror Purr’s cat-shape, but in a pretty lilac colour rather than deep purple.

Katy Perry announced the name of her second fragrance in October after a Twitter campaign to guess its name.

Commenting on the launch Kate Morris, Sales & Marketing Director for Jigsaw ESL said,

“Initial consumer feedback indicates that Meow will be as successful as Katy’s first fragrance, Purr. We are currently working on some really exciting marketing initiatives to support the launch.”
