Established in 2001 as a distributor of premium toiletries, the company changed direction with the appointment of John Roach, a well-known figure in the industry, as Managing Director in 2006. This has led the company to establish itself as a market leader in brand management, promotion and distribution of high profile celebrity fragrances.
Included in Jigsaw's portfolio are Jade Goody, "Big Brother's most famous celebrity" whose first fragrance Shh.. sold in excess of 150,000 units in it’s first 6 months. This established the brand as a top ten best seller in a number of major high street retailers.
Next to "sign up" was Calum Best, model and winner of ITV's 2006 Love Island with his self titled fragrance "Calum". This was also a roaring success selling 25,000 units in the first 3 months of launch.
2007 proved to be a milestone when Jigsaw started to manage the Katie Price brand with exclusive distribution of her number one selling fragrance "Stunning". Setting new standards of celebrity products in the UK.
The launch of Katie's second fragrance "Besotted" in late September 2008 has again been met with huge success.
2007 also saw the partnering with Northern & Shell to promote style icon Alex Curran's "Alex" through mainstream celebrity magazines.
May 2008 brought the launch of a ground breaking lifestyle concept with the Ministry of Sound "Nightlife" with a fragrance for both him and her. This global brand is recognised by clubbers everywhere.
Jigsaw have now launched Jade Goody's second fragrance "Controversial" to critical acclaim from retailers and consumers alike.
Jigsaw will continue to launch new products and develop its existing Brands whether by Distribution agreements or full licence management and development. Development of new opportunities and the challenging of existing norms, continue to be our motivation.
